IKEA established cooperation with the UNYQ medical company, which resulted in the creation of new products targeted at gamers. Technologies based on 3D printing have been used, which allow precise creation of various types of prostheses and apparatus. The product series has been named UPPKOPPLA.
IKEA showed prototypes of new products during the annual conference in Sweden. The UPPKOPPLA series includes special keys or “mouse bungees” (mouse racks). An interesting product is also a special wristband designed to improve the comfort of using the mouse. Thanks to a special application for phones, you can precisely establish the support for the shape of the hand.
New products are guided by the availability that IKEA is paying more and more attention to. An example may be special furniture accessories, which are designed to facilitate the use of products for people who are disabled to some extent. The UPPKOPPLA series shows that the company really sees these problems and wants to remedy them. However, products from the UPPKOPPLA line will not be sold at Swedish stationary stores. You can buy them only through the IKEA app. It is worth adding that the company is also launching its own new application this year, which will enable online shopping.
