June 13, residents of Pajęczno (Poland), woke up a huge noise. When they looked through the windows, they saw the Soviet tank. There were police cars on the spot and the police stopped the machine. Inside, they found a drunken 49-year-old man. Reporting about a tank driving one of the main streets of the city reached the police station in Pajęczno about 21.40. The driver was stopped shortly. The man was intoxicated: in his blood was almost 1 per mille of alcohol.
The owner of an unusual vehicle went to the police detention center. However, there was a problem. None of those present had a driving license for a tank. In the removal of the tank from the street helped a retired soldier, who had permission to drive tanks. At the expense of the tank’s owner, it was taken to a guarded parking lot.
From the police: At first the tank was transported on a trailer. When it broke down, the military vehicle was removed from it for the time of repair. When the tank was to be loaded again on the truck, its owner – taking the passenger on board – decided to take a ride. But he did not care that the tank did not have motor insurance, and he did not have a special driving license.
