The Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop*, Costa Coffee, is launching a magical food menu to mark the start of the festive season. In stores from Thursday 1 November, the menu includes mouth-watering sweet and savoury options to get taste buds in the Christmas spirit.

Christmas Creation | A food pairing from heaven

Customers will be dashing through the snow to get their hands on the irresistible Pigs & Blankets Mac & Cheese a delicious macaroni pasta with a cheese sauce, Cumberland pork sausage, mature Cheddar cheese, sweetcure bacon, spinach topped with a parsley crumb.

Christmas Sandwiches | Every flavour of Christmas covered

To complement the party ready shimmer coffees on offer, Costa is adding a golden glow to the Turkey and Emmenthal Shimmer Brioche. A dazzling shimmer glazed brioche bun with turkey breast, maple smoked bacon, Emmenthal cheese, a pork and sage & onion stuffing, flavoured with a spiced date BBQ sauce and mayonnaise.

For those looking for an alternative to turkey, the Prawn Cocktail Sandwich is always a favourite seasonal starter, while the Christmas Cheese Board Panini is a sumptuous celebration of a post-dinner cheese board combining Red Leicester, Wensleydale, Mature Cheddar & Gran Movaria cheese with a redcurrant & port sauce on a seeded sourdough ciabatta.

Other exciting Costa Christmas sarnies include the Ham Hock and Piccalilli Sandwich, Beef and Caramelised Onion Toasted Baguette and the Ultimate Christmas Toastie, made up of maple-cured smoked bacon and sage & onion stuffing, with béchamel sauce and cranberry sauce on cheese topped white bread.

Costa’s little helpers have been hard at work getting classics ready for fans to tuck into. The Turkey Feast, a Christmas staple, is back once again, along with the Pigs Tucked Under Blankets Panini and the Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Panini.

Veggie and Vegan Variants | Something for everyone this Christmas

Vegetarians will rejoice for the Veggie Christmas Lunch Wrap, containing fabulous festive flavours such as sweet potato falafel with Wensleydale & cranberry cheese and spiced plum chutney. Other veggie lunch options include the Mozzarella and Chargrilled Arrabiata Pasta and Spiced Parsnip Soup, a perfect winter warmer.

For something sweet, the Gluten Free Vegan Iced Fruit Slice is as tasty as it sounds and has also been approved by the Vegan Society. The Gluten Free Vegan Mince Tart boasts the Good Housekeeping Institute Taste Approved endorsement.

Cakes, Bakes and Shortcakes | Delicious Christmas treats

Costa Coffee has introduced a delectable new range of tempting festive cakes this year, with scrumptious baked goodies on offer. The Gingerbread and Sticky Toffee Wreath Cake is topped with icing and crystalised ginger, and drizzled with swirls of sticky toffee, while the Clementine Drizzle Loaf Cake includes orange shreds and a golden decoration.

Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a delicious dose of chocolate and the Double Chocolate Yule Log is a true crowd pleaser – it’s even finished with a golden shimmer to bring that extra bit of Christmas sparkle. New for breakfast is the Cup Croissant with Nutella – a cup croissant filled with Nutella and served warm.

The Paul the Penguin Chocolate Cake, iced with an adorable penguin, injects some festive fun. Paul isn’t the only character at Costa this Christmas – everyone’s favourite present-giving duo are represented by the Father Christmas Gingerbread and Jammy Rudolph Shortcake. And finally, rounding off the mouth-watering food menu is the Gingerbread Muffin and Stollen Bar.

Mighty Mince Pies | A Christmas classics

This year, Costa has not one, but two Christmas classics for customers to feast upon. Both the Mince Pie and Gluten Free Vegan Mince Tart, filled with rich, fruity mincemeat, boast the Good Housekeeping Institute Taste Approved endorsement, proving that they are officially the best. These are perfectly paired with Costa’s Winter Roast coffee.

Costa Coffee’s new Christmas menu is in stores from Thursday 1 November and will be joined by the festive drinks menu, and the return of Costa’s limited-edition Christmas Cups.
