Cầu Vàng (eng. The Golden Bridge) is a 490 ft-long pedestrian bridge in the Bà Nà Hills resort, near Da Nang in Vietnam. It’s also the observation deck with its admiration a beautiful panoramic view of the area.
The bridge is located within the Sun World Ba Na Hills resort. However, you do not have to be a guest of an exclusive hotel to be able to take a walk on the golden footbridge. The footbridge has a breathtaking view of the Ba Na – Nui Chua landscape park. Near the bridge, there are UNESCO World Heritage Sites – the sanctuary of the Czamów in Mỹ Sơn, and Hội An – an ancient port with unique Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese buildings dating from the 15th and 19th centuries. Artificially aged hands supporting the bridge are just a reference to the ancient architectural heritage of Vietnam.
Although the bridge lies within the administrative borders of the city of Da Nang, it takes more than 1.5 hours to travel from the city center to the resort located 35 km away! However, it’s worth to know that to overcome almost a mile of height difference and get out of the city’s full scooters ….
