In New Zealand there were bloody attacks on mosques. An assault armed with a machine gun fired at people praying. The Australian Prime Minister condemned the attack and revealed the identity of one of the attackers. One of the terrorists was an Australian.
It is already known that the number of victims increased to 49. The shooting took place in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. Four people were detained, including a woman. The perpetrator of one of the attacks made a live report of his actions on YouTube and Facebook. The recording shows that a masked bomber rode a car near the mosque, then with an automatic weapon entered the temple and shot the faithful. Then he went to the car to replace the gun and returned to the mosque.
“What has happened is an extraordinary and unprecedented act of violence ” said Jacinda Arder.
In New Zealand, the highest degree of security risk has been introduced. The police in New Zealand, for security reasons, recommended the closure of all mosques in the country. Lessons were also canceled and schools were closed.
